TV Time

Is it just me or has Television taken over this country? I heard a recent statistic that the average home has more televisions in it than people! How is this possible? This used to be a luxury not a requirement to out do the Jones' with the largest one, or the most in one home. It is becoming an epidemic. There was a commercial for tivo or something, asking "are you scheduling your life around the TV?" Who does that? But now I know since it's "premiere week." Although there are a few shows that I will stop what I'm doing to watch, then I realize an hour of my brain has been taken away and part of my youth has been stolen by the satan - TV.
Don't get me wrong, I love Fraisier, CSI, Leno (Headlines!), Rules of Engagement, and such, but really-who has time to stop and tivo or tape a show just to watch it later?

Then again, I guess if you have that kind of time, you're reading this blog ;)

Ok-everyone who reads this, count how many TVs are in your home, and how many people live there. Sadly, we have one in the living room, a tiny one in our bedroom, my roommate has one in her room, and technically we have one on craigslist that is in my storage on the back porch! If you count that one we have 4 TVs to 3 peeps. EEEEEK-I guess it is true. How many are in yours?
