New Recipe & a Little Baby Info

Yesterday I threw some stuff together in a crockpot, and it was really good, so I thought I would share it!

In the bottom of a 6 qt crockpot place 3 sliced potatoes. Cover with 1/2 C water & chicken boullion or 1/2 C chicken broth. Throw on some diced onion (2 handfuls). Then add garlic salt. Place a full 5lb chicken on top. Add 1 bag of frozen broc around the chicken. Add 1 can diced mushrooms (with liquid). Add 1/2 stick butter. Rub paprika all over the top of the chicken. Cook 5 - 6 hours on high. YUM! And easy cleanup. I can't say how many it would feed, because it was just Austin and I, but probably 4 with a lot of chicken left over.

Ok, baby stuff. Today I am 18 weeks. So I am starting to feel better during the day. I still am not sleeping well, but I'll trade that for throwing up! Our next sonogram is Nov 23rd. Assuming it's positioned correctly, we should find out the sex. YAY! I have had two dreams that the Dr told me it was a boy. Since we want to have several children, and re-use everything, we are doing most things in yellow, green, and brown along with the Noah's Ark theme.

I am getting hungry occasionally, but it's still difficult to eat very much, and I can't move a lot after I eat or the nausea comes back. As of today, I haven't gained back any of the 15 pounds I lost, but with the amount of leftover halloween candy in my house, it shouldn't take long.

Thanks to everyone who keeps calling, texting and emailing to see how we are doing! I feel so loved every time it happens. Ok, tummy is growling now, and I have seriously waited too long to feed this kid this morning, so I must head to the kitchen. Loves to ALL!
